So, life is pretty swell right now. School is getting way better, and even though summer is over, I'm still excited for winter. It brings Christmas, sledding, skiing, and coziness. I love Christmas and it's music. I'm really happy and content with myself, and I hope it'll stay that way.

A New Start!

So, I've decided to start a new. I'm going to continue to update like a journal, like I've always done, and add some new things as well. I'll review books, movies, TV shows, etc., I'll teach lessons, basically pretend I'm some famous person that knows everything. I'm also going to start doing something where I take a famouse cartoon-character or animated person and reveal who their real voice is. I don't know about you, but I think it's interesting and strange. I'll do them often, and if you want to see someone and your to lazy to look them up, leave a comment and I'll post it. Thanks!

4th of July Summer Update!!

For the 4th of July, we went to my parents' friends' house for a party and firework show. It was really cool. The show lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes, while the nearby high school show lasted about fifteen minutes. There were also about $4,000 spent all together on fireworks. Well, today, was an okay day.... first of all, I was fasting yesterday, so my mom said I didn't have to go to track. Little did I know, Big Budha (yes, Fox 13 News Big Budha) was going to be at my school and if I would've gone to track, I would've known that if I was at the school at 5 am, I could've been on the news!!! I was depressed.....I also got majorly yelled at by a lunch lady for laying on a table and yelled at by some girl because I accidentally stepped on her toes. Well, it wasn't a total loss, because I figured out that I made it past the primary elections for Student Office at my school!! Yay! I think I have a good future ahead of me. Anyway, I can't decide if I'm excited for summer or not.

Pro's of Summer: NO SCHOOL, sleeping in, staying up late, vacations, warm weather, etc.
Con's of Summer: no school, bugs, warm weather, chores, etc.

iTouch (or iPhone) Backgrounds, KCA, and Canada!

Even though I don't have one myself, I know that ipod Touches have some pretty funny backgrounds, ;like this one:

Hahaha, it makes me laugh.... so if you ever have a chance to look at an iTouch of your friend or relative, ask them if they have any funny backgrounds that have to do with dead jelly doughnuts or guys named Bob who likes knifes and you. (You'll know what I'm talking about if you see it! ;D) Anyway, if any of you saw the KCA (Kids' Choice Awards) 2011 on Nickelodeon, it was pretty awesome. Cory Monteith was there, and Jack Black lip-synced "I Gotta Feeling" while doing an awesome dance that I've recently mostly learned. I was pretty hilarious. And what is the deal with Canadians? Cory Monteith AND Justin Bieber are from there. Is hottness contagious there? I should go to Canada and find out (and also try some Canadian bacon while I'm there to). Hey, no harm, no foul, right?

Media Update!

Here's a little media update on what's going on in the world:

-Japan was recently devastated with a poweful tsunami that killed a lot of people and even wiped out villages. Many people are hurt. I saw videos and they were terrible! I hope everything will get better and that everyone will remember them in their prayers!

-Hunger Games is being made into a movie!! I don't really know the cast (a lot of Alex Pettyfer reccomendations for Peeta), but I think I found the release date; March 23, 2012. I want to see it so bad! Here is my cast reccomendation:

A Movie That Will Make You Cry!

I just recently finished Titanic and it is now the saddest movie I've ever seen! (It's also one of my favorites.) The end was really sad and if you haven't seen Titanic yet, don't read on....

I LOVE JACK!!! I WANT HIM BACK! IT WAS SO SAD WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!!! I used to dislike Leonardo De Caprio, but now I like him.

Summer and Robin Hood!

Is it just me, or can anyone wait for summer? Besides the fact that all the bugs come out and weeding is added to the chore list, but other than that, summer is going to be awesome!!! It brings staying up late, sleeping in, sleepovers, and NO SCHOOL! Another thing that I'm happy about is that I won the costume contest at my school! It was medieval day, and I dressed up as Robin Hood. I'm talking full-on maroon tights, green dress, leather vest, Peter Pan boots, a tiny read cape, and, of course, a Robin Hood hat! I was going to wear lipstick because my mom said it would be funny, but I just looked like a vampire. Anyway, it was kind of embarrassing to walk through the halls in a Robin Hood outfit, but I bore through it, entered the costume contest at lunch, and was one of the three winners in my lunch. I even got a chocolate bar! So, if your looking for a good medieval costume that almost no one else will do, Robin Hood is definitely the way to go!

Black Friday Palooza!!!

Yesterday, Thanksgiving, I decided to go to the sale at Toys R Us that started at 10pm. Big Mistake!!! When I got there, there were no less than 4,000 people in front of us in line. If you've ever been to the Toys R Us in Layton, then you'll freak out when I tell you that the end of the line was between Target and Michael's!!! We waited about an hour in ten degree weather at ten at night until we gave up and left. I was trying to be the optimist, but I litterally couldn't feel my feet. My advice? STAY AWAY FROM TOYS R US ON BLACK FRIDAY!!!

I'm so excited! Why you ask? Well, I get to be a zombie in the school Haunted House! I get to groan and moan and dress all gross and stuff! My mom found me a recipe for a sick (literally) homemade zombie costume that includes fake blood, dirty clothes, fake pus, and fake open sores! One downside is that I can't go to the Halloween dance that's at the same time as this though. My teacher also said I need to stay in character, so if one of my friends sees me, the conversation should go something like this:
Some Friend: (Gasp) Hey! Hi! Hi!
Me: "Uuuggggghhhhhhhhh...Grrrr"
Friend: "Whaat?"
Me: "GRRRR!"
Friend: Screams "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Island Park! (Again)

So, everybody has to do something in the summer, right? Well this was my family's special something. We went to Island Park! Each summer, my grandparents pay for our family to go on a summer vacation. This was the third time going to Island Park. (Well, these pictures are of last year. We forgot to take a camera this time!) I tried wakeboarding (much harder than it looks!), trying to ride a motorcycle and crashing (banging up a tree in the process), and almost got hit and run by a boat. (Pretty safe, huh?) See, we were up there on the Forth of July, and to watch the fireworks, some of us got in my uncle's boat and rode to the middle of the lake to see them better. After the fireworks ended, it was a mad dash for all the other boats to get home! We were going pretty slow, when this guy rode his boat right in front of us going like 40mph! Some of us could her his daughter telling him to slow down. When he almost hit us, my family started yelling at him. And get this, right after he past us, he starting yelling at his daughter! There are some pretty nutty people up in Idaho! I am out! Peace! ;)

Well, life is finally catching up with me. I've gotten braces, going into Jr. High next year, and everyone around me is hitting puberty. Going into Jr. High is going to be a big step, a emotional one at that too. Some of my friends will be leaving me for a while and I'm finally going to depart from my Elementary School were I've practically grown up. I'm so sad about that, that the other day at 6th grade gradutation, I saw some friends crying because they were sad about the year ending. I made me emotional too and I just wanted to go burrow myself in my teachers shoulder and bawl my head off! (Well, I kinda' did, but is wasn't bawling, it was quietly crying to myself.) I mean, sure, I'm excited to go into Jr. High, but it's hard to leave the place where you know all the teachers and met your friends and all that Jazz. I'm trying to make the best of it while trying not to think to much about it. But don't be surprised if you see me on the last day of school and I'm in total hysterics!

Hey, you know when dentists or orthodontists tell you that when they pull your teeth, it dosn't hurt? Well, I just recently got my teeth pulled, and it hurt like crap!I mean, the guy tells you to tell him if you feel anything, but he just says that to calm you down. If you do say that you can feel it, he just says "ok" and just keeps digging. You won't really understand it until you do it. So, go get your teeth pulled today! (Really don't, save yourself the pain!)

I. Am. Getting. My. Teeth. Pulled. Tomarrow! (Unless my mom is just trick me and I really just going to a regular orthodontist appointment. That would be nice...) Help me! I am terrified! Those who know me know that I am afraid of everthing. (Okay, maybe I'm exagerating.) But I'm really scared. While other people in the world might feel COLLOSAL, GIGANTIC, HUGE, I feel tiny. The orthodontist said he's just going to put some numbing cream on my teeth and pull them out and I it shouldn't hurt a bit, but I'm still horrified. Well, there's not much I can do. Wish me luck! Ok, this week was no TV week for my school. Ahhh! I was hard for me. So I decided to take a break. That is one of the reasons I have not been bloging lately. Also, I was in class on Thursday when my teacher went into a lechure about stealing. This kid in my class has been having his treats stolen off of his desk. "That is why we don't bring electronics to school," my teacher said. "Because they could get stolen. And right after that, we all hear this "beep"! We all turned to the sorce of the noise, Carson. He had brought his cell phone to school! We all laughed and my teacher confinscated Carson's phone. Oh technology...

P.S., Mom, if you are reading this, I'm still hoping for a cell phone and a Facebook account.:) Please!!!

Potatoes!

Ok, maybe this post is not about potatoes, (which are delicious), but it's about what I did over Spring Break! (This is where the potatoe part comes in.) I did go to the state of potatoes, Idaho! We went to my mom's cousin's cabin. It's bigger than where I live! It was awsome! We went bowling, played Ms. Pack Man, and ate food. But unfortunately, my 2nd cousin got the pukes and was sick the whole time. Then, we went to my mom's cousin's house to spend the night there, but my mom's cousin got sick to. So, we decided to spend the night in Pocatello and swim at Lava Hot Springs in the morning. So we watched a movie, (it was 'Old Dogs' and it was hilarious!) and we slept, then in the morning we hit the road to Lava. But yet again, we got bad luck and figured out on Sundays, it wasn't open till' One in the afternoon. So, with or heads hanging, we drove home. Weird vacation, I know. But it was worth it!

So I was riding home from school when my friend reminds me that the "Reflections" are due tommarrow, which is and art contest I've done every year. And not to brag, but, I did win 2nd place one time in visual arts. I've done visual arts every year but this year since I didn't really have a lot of time, I'm doing photographs. I'm sending in the top picture. So anyway, my dad did all the work, which is going on a lot lately. I feel bad! Hope I can stand not doing my projects at the last minute!

Thriller Continued!

So, we went to Thriller! And turns out, it wasn't about Michael Jackson. It was just a gory Halloween musical and the opening number was Thriller, (blush!). When we first got there, there were a bunch of the "zombies" from the musical walking around getting in people's faces. There was this one zombie girl who kept following me around "grrring" in my face. That crossed the line. I started crying and thought that the musical would be so gory and scary. But that didn't last long. Once the musical started, I loved it! All of you should go see it! But, hurry, it only plays 'till Halloween. Before we went to Thriller, we went to this restraunt called "Market St. Broiler" which had basically sea food. In that night I tried clam chowder, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, and lobster dipped in melted butter. Everything was pretty good, but the lobster. All I could taste was the butter and the texture was disgusting!

She's here!!! My little baby sister is here!Her name is Lula Belle and she weighed 8lb. 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. She is so cute! She is the only baby that my mom has had with hair. The rest were bald!

Three Days!!!

My mom is having her baby in three days!!! Can you belive it? The doctor said that if she dosen't have her baby in the next 2 days, then they will take the baby out on Monday. My mom and dad have to be at the hospital at 6:00am, the doctor will perform the c-section at 7:30am, and my mom and dad will be back in their room with my little sister by 8:00am. I can't wait! But I'm still a little nervous. What will it be like having a new member of the family? I guess I'll find out! And you know what stinks. Unless my mom has the baby tomarrow, she'll be in the hospital on her birthday!

I told you guys that I would tell you what my mom was having, so now is the time to do so. It is a girl!!! We are going to name her Sophia Ann and call her Sophie. And even though it's a girl, I can still keep my room! Yay me! I'm so exited. My mom is due the end of July.

Hey, its me. Okay, so me and a couple of friends are starting a club/fundraiser called KCFO, (Kids Caring For Others). Basically what we do is raise money for supplies like blankets, toothbrushes, and other stuff to the Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake. We really need all the money we can get. Guess what everyone, MY MOM IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY! She told us on Christmas. She got one of the stockings, looked inside and said, whats this? I was filled with baby supplies. I said,"I know, you're going to have a baby!" And then she said yep. We don't know what it is yet but I hope its a girl. Girl babies are way cuter because you can dress them in pink and bows. Then only problem is that the baby if its a girl has to move into my room. Then I will have to share a room again with my sister. I love my sister but I would rather have my own room. I will let you all know what it is! Bye!

I can't wait for Christmas! It's the best day of the year. Only 2 days ago, I got the pukes and couldn't go to my Aunt JJ's Christmas party, I was so disappointed. So I spent December 23rd watching movies on this DVD player that skips the DVDs. We're all decorated over here, with stockings, lights, and mistletoe. Me, I've got my own things up in my room. I've got a little Christmas tree with two marker colored ornaments, a line of lights against my wall, and a little bead and pipe-cleaner candy cane on that string that closes my blinds. Yesterday, me and my friend went over to our friend's house and helped shovel here walk. I was wearing those kind of slip on shoes with a Velcro strap and socks. So by the time we were done, my feet were blocks of ice. For Christmas, I'm asking for a Nintendo DS. Merry Christmas!

Halloween!!!

Halloween was crazy this year! I was the Devil, Haley was Corpse, Drew was Spiderman, and Hank was a Ballerina who didn't like his tutu. We had a class party that was pretty weird. First we had a 5th grade parade. What you do is one class marches around the other 5th grade classes showing of our costumes. After that we had a class party. The stations were Witches Brew Fondu, Read a Book, Halloween Old Maid, and this one weird game that sickened me out. There was this big plastic cauldron filled with cooked noodles and water with little plastic figures like a shuken head and a spider. How you played the game is that you pick a card that has one of the objects written on it. Then you put on a blinfold and try to feel around the noodles to find your "item". If you find the wrong one, your teamates tell you and you put it back. Your turn ends when you find your item. I was ready to puke the entire time!!! On Halloween Day, my mom made me do my chores and then when I was done, I went next door with my 2 friends and watched 2 movies. Then we got in our costumes and went trick or treating. When we were done, we went to my house and had dinner. By that time it was around 8:00. Then we hung out then went to bed. So fun!!!

Vegas!!!

I know it's a little late to write about this, but last spring, (if I'm correct,) me and my family went to Vegas!!! We went to Excalebier, M and M World, MGM, and Mandalay Bay Aquarium! M and M World was FILLED with M and M's! There was this one room were 5 feet tall M and M disposer's filled with M and M's all colors! And get this, my mom said not to touch any because it was $9 a pound of M and M's. I guess Haley is deaf because right after my mom said that, she got a little bag and filled it with like 2 pounds of M and M's! My mom was so mad, and just so she didn't have to pay for them, she just set the bag on a shelf and walked away! MGM was really fun because it had an actual lion habitat inside, (with glass walls and ceiling of coarse,) and there was this cool restaurant called The Rain Forest Cafe. It was filled with artificial plants and plastic trees. And there were robot animals everywhere, they looked so real. In the middle of the restaurant there was a bar with a plastic mushroom over it. And there was like a plastic 3 feet tall wall surrounding it, and on top of the wall were little misters. And to top it of, every like 30 minutes, the lights flicker, the animals go crazy, and it makes cool thunder noises. Excalebier was probably my favorite. The room you're in is really big and is divided into like 10 sections. Each section has they're own fighter. We had the Russian fighter. In the middle of the room there was a big dirt pit. While you eat your own king's feast, the fighter fight on there horses. The king's feast included your own mini chicken, medieval fries, a roll, a drink, and some broccoli. The Mandalay Bay Aquarium was really cool. They had starfish, jellyfish, lobsters, piranhas, alligator, sea turtles, tropical fish, lion fish, even you could pet a sting ray! And they had this long room, but instead of a ceiling, they had an aquarium right above your head! It was such a cool vacation.

Since most of you know that my dad has a contract with University of Utah at work, I think I might tell you a little bit about the Utes. Once apon a time, in a land very far away, Brigham Young started his long journey, leading the pioneers. Long after they reached Utah, Brigham Young started a very good and well known, The University of Utah Utes. Long after in my time, my father was hired to work in Salt Lake, with a contract for U of U. Then he and his family got to go to lots of games, and they all lived happily ever after. The End

Drew's such a cutie. His life is cars. He loves to sleep and play with his sisters. Haley's takes after me, she's crazy. She loves to dance and be silly. Mom stays home, takes care of the kids, and cleans the house. She's caring and nice. Dad is eather golfing or working most of the day. But when we do see him, he's awsome. Hank, our dog, is hiper and cute. Pepper, my guinea pig, is messy but soft and cuddly. And last but not least, Haley's Beta Fish. Ninfadora is small, cute, and dosen't really do much. Well, thats the crew!

We finally got a dog. When we got him, he was 7 weeks old. He's a Brindle colored Boxer that we named Hank. He's soooooooooooo cute. He has also captured Drew's jealousy. We love you Hank!

Life as a 5th Grader

Life as a 5th grader. I love my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Mcdonough and she's soooooooo nice. And check this out, she can stay in a handstand for 13 seconds straight. I saw with my very eyes! I mean, how many teachers do you know that can do a hand stand. I know it's awsome, right? So far my favorite subjects are writing and spelling. And I looove library.
